Music Ministry
Our goal in music is to bring glory to God and draw people to worship Him and submit to His Word. Fervency of faith and earnestness of heart is more important than style of music. The Music Ministry at Southside consists of weekly vocal and instrumental leadership in our worship services, periodic special musical performances, and audio and visual technicians.

Sunday Bible Classes
Sunday Bible classes are held each Sunday morning and provide instruction seminars prior to corporate worship. They cover a variety of subjects on various levels of understanding to instruct people in God’s Word. These classes are offered each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. concurrent with the Bible classes for children and students.

Our current Adult Bible Study offers the following classes:

Developing a Stronger Walk with God - “Practicing the spiritual Disciplines of the Faith.”  Have you ever made a New Year’s resolution to read your Bible?  For the next quarter Pastor Jim will lead a 12 week study on how to develop spiritual habits that nurture our maturity in Christ.

Ladies Bible Study - Diane Rupp will continue her study of the book of Ephesians.

Home Groups
Home Groups are casual gatherings of small groups meeting in homes for prayer, caring, and Bible discussion. They are led by church leaders and consist of between 8-20 people. They meet every other week on scheduled evenings and provide a means by which people can meet, interact, and fellowship with others at Southside Church.

Ministry within the Congregation
Ministry is service towards others who are believers in Christ to encourage and inspire and deepen their faith in Christ. It is mainly done through acts of service within the midst of the congregation. There are a number of ways each believer can be of service to each other according to their spiritual gifts in Christ.
