Welcome to southside
We’re so glad you’re here. At Southside, we gather as a body of believers to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to learn from His Scriptures, and to fellowship with believers and guests. We look forward to meeting you!
We believe in the importance of growing in our faith here at Southside and have many opportunities to do so, such as:
Our Sunday school classes which meet at 9:00 am. They challenge the body of believers to grow in the word. Classes are offered for all ages during this time.
Also, we encourage you to join us from 10-10:30 for our meet and greet. It is a wonderful time to get to know others and spend some time in fellowship.
In addition, we gather for worship at 10:30 in the sanctuary. You can expect our services to last around 70 minutes.
Sunday evenings, we come back together from 6-7:30 for a time of worship & studies for all ages.
Finally, we also offer a variety of Bible studies and fellowship opportunities thought the week for all ages.
Mission
The mission of Southside church is to glorify God in the salvation of souls, to edify Christians through the teaching of God’s Word, to proclaim throughout the world God’s saving grace expressed in the shed blood, and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary. We also promote Godly worship, defend the “faith once delivered,” and to cooperate with Christian activity functioning in harmony with God’s Holy Word -“Till He comes.”
